About me and my practice
Whatever your reasons are that has led you to this point in your life, you have already taken the very first important step of taking personal responsibility of 'investing' in yourself - that is brave and courageous...
There maybe many reasons for accessing counselling and I am mindful that everyone has their own story, but most importantly - 'Their own Truth'. I am also mindful that every individual is unique and so are their needs. I work Psychodynamically, which means to understand your emotions.
I am passionate in exploring the most important relationship which is with ourselves. We will explore childhood development patterns through the concept of our inner child. This is the part of us that is deep rooted into our emotional landscape, how this has been carried through to your past/present relationships. As a result, identifying the common pitfalls that has led to an imbalanced emotional state of being.
I provide a safe and confidential space for us to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and work with you to help you manage your challenges to make positive changes in your life. Rebuilding that self-awareness by exploring many coping strategies for authentic transformation to take place.
Regular engagement in the therapeutic process can lead to allowing your authentic self a voice. This in turn can lead to reconnecting with yourself, allow greater self-acceptance and deeper understanding of yourself to mindfully navigate within your relationships.

Additional Information
Counselling is talking therapy where I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space. You will be able to explore, discover and clarify whatever has brought you to this point to access the emotional support.
We all at some points in our lives can feel overwhelmed with the demands of life. You no longer feel the joy you once did, and everything feels a lot more of an effort than it ought to be. Maybe you are not even sure what it is because nothing is making sense anymore and you have lost touch with yourself.
Loneliness and isolation seems to have taken centre stage in your life and as a result its having a huge impact on your relationships.
It can feel daunting, especially if it is your first time to reach out to a stranger for emotional support but I understand how scary it can feel. By working together, it will allow us to explore how we relate with each other. This can provide clarity of how you relate in your other relationships.
